Privacy notice.

What personal information Wert Group receives, why it is used and how to make a privacy request.

Who this notice covers.

Wert Group is responsible for the personal information it handles through this website and related business inquiries. This notice covers visitors, prospective clients and people who contact us about our services. Information exchanged during a consulting engagement may also be covered by the agreed confidentiality and data-handling terms.

For privacy questions, email contact@wert-group.com or write to Wert Group, 100 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02110, United States.

Information we receive.

When you email or call, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, role, organization, contact information and the subject of your inquiry. We also receive the correspondence and documents you choose to share. Please send only information relevant to the discussion.

Visiting the website involves technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages requested and the time of the visit. Website service providers process this information to deliver pages, identify faults and protect the service.

How we use information.

We use business contact information to answer inquiries, assess proposed work, arrange meetings and manage the resulting relationship. Relevant records may also be needed to administer an engagement, meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity. This may include steps you request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or legitimate interests in business correspondence and website security. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

Advertising and audience-analytics tools are not enabled on this website. We do not use your website activity to target advertising.

Who may receive information.

Providers supporting our website, business communications and recordkeeping may process information needed for their services. Relevant information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where necessary to meet an obligation, obtain advice, or establish or defend legal rights.

Client information is handled under the arrangements agreed for the engagement. A general website inquiry does not authorize publication of your name, correspondence or project details.

Where information is handled.

Wert Group is based in the United States. Service providers may handle information in other countries, where data-protection rules can differ. Contact us for information about processing locations and the safeguards applicable to your information.

How long information is kept.

We retain inquiry records while addressing the request and for any continuing business relationship. Retention depends on the purpose of the record, whether the matter remains open, and applicable contractual, legal and recordkeeping requirements.

A request to delete information may be subject to those requirements or an unresolved legal claim. Where information must be retained, we will explain the relevant limitation when responding to your request.

The decision-paper editor.

Text entered in the editor stays in the open browser tab and is not sent to Wert Group. The editor does not save your entries for a later visit. Reloading or closing the tab clears them.

Using Copy places the text on your clipboard. You decide where to keep it and whether to share it. If you later send the document to us, it becomes part of the correspondence or engagement records described in this notice.

Confidential information.

Keep initial inquiries limited to the business question and your contact details. Agree on an appropriate exchange method before sending confidential records, sensitive personal information or material subject to another party's restrictions. Do not send passwords or account credentials.

No method of internet communication provides an absolute guarantee of security. Contact us if you believe information sent to Wert Group has been misdirected or disclosed without authorization.

Your privacy rights.

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access or receive a copy of your personal information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, or obtain it in a portable format. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it.

Send requests to contact@wert-group.com. Explain what you would like us to do and provide enough information to identify the relevant records. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or the authority of a representative. We respond within the periods required by applicable law and explain any applicable exception or refusal.

Where available under applicable law, you may appeal a decision or complain to the relevant data-protection authority.
